Nice campground, good pool. Small playground but there is a big playground next door at the Oak Lake provincial park. I like the mini store and the qice cream shop.

Great campground all around. From the beach to the park this is a great place with some great old oak trees. we talked to a few campers that have been staying there for going on 20+ years. I can see why so many people want or have seasonal spots. Worth a stop if you’re traveling close by thanks for the great day Oak Island.

Amazing golf course and really visually stunning!! We had a great time!! It is under new management and that seems to be an improvement. They are concentrating on the course and less on the bar as it should be!

Very open campground with zero separation/privacy between sites. Haphazardly arranged sites, some too small for a trailer, some very wide. No cell service, wifi suitable for texting only. Everything is very, very expensive, ice cream, water, fire wood, mini golf, showers, everything. Washrooms were pretty gross. Pretty frustrating experience overall. For some reason the dirt around our site (there is no grass, only sparse weeds) need to be mowed while we were there. The mower shot rocks and sticks at our vehicles and left a thick layer dirt over all our gear. Pool area was ok. Beach is very small, covered in sticks and rocks, warnings posted not to swim in water due to algea. We won't be back.

The Golf Gods graced the 8th Annual Harambe Memorial Golf Invitational with Bluebird Skies all weekend. What an absolute treat it was to play this course three times, in two days. Governor Oat booked the stay and play. Great cabins, clean, spacious, well equipped for surviving a golf marathon and we were able to walk from the cabins to the course. The staff here are top class! In my opinion, this golf course is in the top 5 public courses in the province of MB. As a righty I was worried that the dog leg lefts would give me a lot of trouble. This was not the case. There are plenty of options for all skill levels of player. When the brain was a little foggy I could take the safe option and when I was swinging pure I could be more aggressive and score. Top Class and hats off. We will be back.
