Great location, close to Calypso Waterpark. Great pool and play areas for the kids. Washrooms and shower facilities were clean and reliable. We had an issue with the noise. The rules state quiet time was 11pm-8am, however the bar on site that is open to the public was blasting music untill past 1:30 on Friday night. The bass could be heard through the walls of the camper which was extremely disruptive. The music was just as loud on the other 2 nights but was lowered or maybe even off by the 11pm intended quiet time. We also ordered wood, which could only be delivered by the staff. They told us wood delivery was between 730-8pm. The wood was never delivered and the office closed at 8pm, so we couldn't do anything about it. Overall it was good experience.

Not our typical type of campground as we usually go to places with lakes and trees, but due to a miscalculation on my part and a place needed to camp on a long weekend (and not willing to do another Walmart parking lot night) with everything booked up, we managed to get the last spot available here. With so many fun things to do, cleanliness, full hook ups, etc. I ended up cancelling my provincial parks reservation and extending our stay there. After reading reviews on Calypso the kids opted for staying at the park and enjoying the pool instead (did not see that coming). Anyways if we are in the area again we will definitely look at staying here and recommend it. Trees and Lakes are over-rated when you have electricity, water, sewer and a pool with near by ice-cream and bar beside it. lol

Went on the three day St. Jean Baptist day weekend. The park was packed, but the sites are huge! We had a tent trailer and it took up less than half of our site, and that was with the screen room attached. The checkin process and buying wood was so easy, road is wide and easy to access sites, hookups are very convenient, kids had a blast in the pool and with all other amenities. Great weekend other than the rain!
