We are currently checked in to the Ocean Surf RV Park for a Father's Day weekend of camping. We booked our site in March, requesting a site close to the park and pool as we have 4 young children. We called again in May to confirm the site location and that it was a 3-way, as we're traveling from PEI for our first trip in our new-to-us RV. We checked-in and were given the park map, along with a list of information about the park offerings. One of these offerings being a salt-water heated pool in which it states that it is open from 10am to 8pm, and does not lifeguard on duty. We walked over to the pool at 7pm to find the gate chained closed, which we found odd as it was 25 degrees outside. I made a call to the office and was told that the pool is not open because the student lifeguards out of school for the year. When I stated that the sign clearly states "no lifeguard on duty", the lady had no response. At this point I visited the office to ask why I was not told about the pool closure at any time since my reservation in March. It is not mentioned on the website, in any of the emails I was sent about my reservation, on their social media, or by any of the staff when I checked in. This time, their reasoning for the closure was because the "there is too much pollen in the pool and the pH level is too high". When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the lack of communication, the staff had zero remorse and let me know that the owner would be in the next day and I could speak with them. The pool was one of the main reasons we returned to this campground for a second year, as it was our children's favorite part when we stayed in August of 2022. Needless to say, we would have chosen a different campground closer to home if we had known the pool would be closed.

A very large park with many seasonals. Bathhouses were clean and modern with pay showers, 2 quarters for 6 minutes. Sites were on gravel with lots of grass between all full hook up sites with 30 Amp service. Nice salt water pool. Laundry, playgrounds. Close to beach and downtown Shediac.

Ocean surf was amazing especially for our young kids. They loved it. The ground were clean, and staff was super accommodating. Lots of activities, close to Parlee, nice size lots.

Nice campground to visit. Good amenities, showers, washrooms, heated pool and park for the kids. Within walking distance of Parlee Beach so that is very nice.

There is a large dirt mound that towers over our fence which is an eye sore to look at. Kids climb on it all the time and sets our dogs off. It's just rude. They need to move it.
