Great little campground in nestled in the middle of Okotoks. Only a few tent sites. All have electrical and the bathrooms are close and clean. There is a public playground just out the front gates and a lovely creak with shallow water. The kids loved it. Does seem busy. There was little vacancy even mid week. The people who worked there were amazing and very friendly. Note: the creek is great! Don’t forget water shoes or keen sandals or something that can stay on feet in the water. The rocks are very hard on the feet. 😂

I recently had an accident while camping at Lions Campground in Okotoks, and I can't say enough good things about the staff. After my accident with an axe, the front office immediately provided first aid and took great care of me. Special shoutout to the manager, Holly, who personally drove me to urgent care. The kindness and attentiveness of the staff made a stressful situation much easier to handle. Beyond that, the campground itself is incredibly well-organized and run. It's clear that the team takes pride in maintaining a great environment for their guests. Highly recommend this place – not just for the beautiful campground, but for the amazing staff too!

Mens bathroom was kinda sketchy. Didn't need the code to get in as there was duct tape covering the latch, and the shower stall I happened to put my money in was missing its locking mechanism. .. so ya some work needed there. Otherwise, we'll kept and clean, fair prices...nice receptionist.

Very nice campground, well kept, reasonably priced, and many mature trees. As well it is right next to a river with walking trails. Wifi is excellent but you have to pay extra for multiple days.

Great stop over to resupply at nearby shopping. Well run, nice sites with FHU. Beautiful park and bike trail right next to campgeound and riverfront. Tons of nearby shopping but very heavy traffic area too. Very pleases with rates. Bathrooms clean, showers adequate but cost $. Dump station very good. Met nice people in campground.
