About This Campsite
Orchard Valley RV Park
Orchard Valley RV Park is a family-run agri-tourism site, nestled among peaceful orchards. The park offers ten full-service RV sites, along with additional power and water sites, designed to provide privacy and a rustic escape close to the attractions of Kelowna. While the orchard surrounds promise a serene environment, visitor experiences have been varied.Key Highlights & Considerations:
- Amenities and Services: The park advertises a range of facilities including a small laundry, washrooms, and showers, which have received mixed reviews regarding availability and cleanliness. Potential visitors should verify the current status of these amenities when planning their stay.
- Site Conditions: Many reviews point out that the sites are spacious, allowing room for both RVs and additional parking. However, maintenance of the grounds is noted as inconsistent, with some past visitors highlighting issues with cleanliness and utility connections.
- Tranquility and Surroundings: The orchard setting offers a promising retreat with potential for quiet and relaxation, although some reviewers have reported noise disruptions from nearby properties.
- Management and Service: Experiences with the park's management have been varied. While some guests praise the personable and hard-working owners, others have pointed out challenges with check-in and customer service responsiveness.
Overall Thoughts:
Orchard Valley RV Park is situated in a beautiful part of the countryside, offering a unique experience for those interested in agri-tourism. While this park has the potential to provide a lovely escape, it's essential to reach out to current management to confirm available amenities and conditions. For those who enjoy a rustic, self-sufficient stay, and can navigate potential service and noise quirks, it could still be a suitable choice near Kelowna.Photos

My wife and I stayed a few months at this rv campsite. Negatives, water is not drinkable, smells like dog piss and shit everywhere you walk, they spray pesticides in their orchard at least once a week which make you sick , no washrooms as advertised, no laundry as advertised, false advertised. Owners are nice but never around when you need them. We watched campers check in themselves including my wife and I. No one around to check you in , always double booking campers , people having to figure everything out on their own. Power goes out , water gets turned off , smells like septic because they have a septic field not installed properly. The owners are always around to collect money from you, but never around when you need help. I sincerely believe the owners of this campsite are not invested in the business. The grass is let to grow two feet tall, the garbage bin overflowing and weeds grow through the gravel. Every night you hear dogs bark steady throughout the whole night , no joke. The dogs are barking from a house just off from the campsite. Not the campsites problem, but it's what you hear every night. I hate writing this negative review, but I would hate to say nothing and know others that travel from far away are having to deal with the same problems we did. My recommendation to anyone looking to rv in kelowna, don't camp here. There are better, more organized and beautiful places to stay after traveling from far away or just taking the family out for a weekend. Lastly, this place has alot of negatives, but has so much potential if the owners could make the time to do the needed repairs. Thank you

Orchard Valley RV is a family run agri-tourism RV park with 10 full service sites, 1 water/power site and 2 water/power/sewer overflow sites. The summer rate in 2017 is $50 plus taxes. There is a small laundry facility, shower and washrooms at the main house. They have large sites with privacy trees between. The sites are large enough for you to put out your awning and have a vehicle parked beside that. The owners are pretty quiet and nice. The surrounding orchards provide a quiet environment.

Very underwhelming, don’t stay here. Paid $85 to stay here, had to connect water and electricity to a seperate site, no sani-dump at the site and slow wifi. Was told there would be a washroom on the phone and while checking in. We were hoping for warm showers but it had be closed due to COVID for 2 years despite no government restrictions left; a lazy move not to clean the washrooms. Friendly but unorganised check-in, no office to go back to to ask questions. All in all, almost zero amenities for an extortionate price.

Stayed there in September. After having our stay “confirmed” with a confirmation number, the owner wanted to ditch us for a more lucrative (longer staying) guest. Only after we got very upset did she change it back to the original booking. There is just one bathroom and it’s busy in the morning and not nice nor clean enough for me. Their neighbour has several dogs, they barked nonstop. The tall wooden fence between us wouldn’t let us see the dogs but we sure heard them .. all day and sometimes even at night.

We stayed here for 2 weeks, very private, well maintained and a beautiful area. Jim and Seema own the peoperty, and converted part of their orchard into 10, fully serviced RV sites. Jim is very hardworking, always outside fixing or improving the sites. He took us to his orchard and we helped ourselves to the fresh cherries. Only minutes from town, lots to see and do in Kelowna. We thoroughly enjoyed outselves and our hosts.
