The perfect place to park for adventures near Lac philippe. I have parked here many times over the past few months and have always found a space. Road to the park are in good condition and stable for all cars. In the winter it gives assess to the cross country ski trails and also a number of different snowshoe trails (which I really enjoy). There are toilets in the car park and in the winter there is always a cheerful National Park representative to check your pass and answer any questions.

Winter camping was fabulous! The way there was a great workout with all that gear and pulling our kids on a sleigh. It was blazing hot inside from the wood stove. Don't pack thinking you will freeze all night. We had to open windows to keep it bearable and we kept only one log burning at a time (no thermostat, of course).
