Parlee Beach is gorgeous. Warmest ocean waters in the North Atlantic. I was there on an overcast day, but the water was still lovely. They do have lifeguards on-duty (though double check the times) and a very large roped off area for swimming. There is parking, but be aware that you have to pay for both a day pass (or season pass) to enter the park. There are washrooms on site and outdoor showers to rinse off the sand and seawater.

I've been to plenty of provincial parks but never, until now, have I been to one that operates more like a private park. If you're looking for privacy you won't find it here. Large Trailers & Campers park side by side. Tent camping is a bit better but everything is pretty much open space with a few trees here and there. Want a hot shower 🚿 it'll cost you a dollar for 5 minutes. That's what the sign says but 2 coins later it was still cold. The staff however are great, even got my 2 dollars back. The park and facilities were clean with plenty of garbage cans placed throughout the park. As for the beach, you have to drive to it, or expect a long walk.

Amazing beach and the town is nice as well met a couple of the locals and watched a volleyball tournament while the others shooed in the nice little stores. It one of those “bucket list” places for sure and don’t forget to visit the giant lobster while your in the area.

For the area, it's a great beach. Significantly better than the Aboiteau in Cap Pelé. $20 is a little steep in my opinion for a day at the beach. As nice as it is, this isn't Waikiki we're talking about 😜😜😜

The park was pretty good. The first night was really good. Second night we couldn't have a fire so didn't really enjoy it. Decided to have a shower the second night,too. My husband wasted two loonies because the water never even got hot. I decided to go have a shower after him in the women's one and I wasted 2 loonies.. also,we both literally had to go from one stall to another stall, was not impressed. The beach is like 10 minutes away. It was really really nice. My grandson and my husband found crabs and little crabs and big crabs. They had fun
