Nice park. The spot we had was large and fairly private as one side was the border to the property. The laundry facility was great. Showers cost a loonie so make sure you are packing.

I don’t know why there are bad reviews, it’s a campsite! 10 mins walking to the beach . Front desk staff was friendly and nice, campsites are fine. Toilets and showers are clean. Stayed 3 nights no problem

I have camped in a dozen provincial parks across Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada and this was the worst by far. Sites are very close together with no privacy, staff at the campsite could not be bothered to help with another camper using half our site for their dining tent so our tent was not covered by the trees. There are not many trees at the park and we had booked that particular site so we would have some tree cover. They do not enforce noise rules at 11pm which is annoying if it keeps your family up. It's perfectly fine to charge for hot showers but the showers should work. You will only get hot water half the time and should be cleaned more often. They do have a very good grounds team that come regularly to empty trash and recycling bins. Best I have seen. The beach itself is nice but you do need to pay full price for parking($20). If you go to a quiet part of the water you can see crabs and lobsters at your feets during low tide. Overall this camp grounds suffers from quantity over quality issue. You are squeezed in with so many campers that it is only good to use if you only use the campsite to sleep and don't spent too much time at the camp grounds themselves. Would not recommend for an extended stay but for a night is fine.

Country Music Festival. Lots of people as expected but not overly loud. Staff were nice and the place was clean. Downsides: bought two bundles of wood when I arrived - $20. Washrooms are very dated but whatever as long as they are clean . Chose a spot near washrooms for convenience . Two of the three showers had signs saying out of order. The third one didn’t work but no sign - water trickled out. However, it took your money. Btw, a provincial park charges $1 for five minutes of hot water. I didn’t even know that was still a thing ! Found a working shower after driving to the main office . I balanced my clothes and everything I needed on a stool no wider than a foot by 11”. Decided to go to the beach. Had too many things to carry. Pulled the car up “That will be $20”. So you camp at Parlee Beach Campground but are charged to go to the beach with your car? I don’t know if this represents NB provincial parks . However, if it does then they are either mismanaged or seriously underfunded and need to gouge. I really don’t like giving this negative review but these things need to be said and they seem to be consistent with other reviews.

Came here from NS for the YQM Country Fest and was very disappointed. I have only dealt with the check in staff member who was very nice (no problem there), however, the campground should be called a CRAMPGROUND as the sites were SO close together and had no privacy (58B). You have to pay $1 in order to have 5 minutes of hot water in your shower…unheard of to me! And there was no shower head. The beach is NOT included in the price if you want to park your car which is an extra $20!!! The bathrooms weren’t too bad and kept up pretty well in our section until this morning which now 1 out of 2 have a complete clog for the past few hours. The bundles of wood are $10 each which seem pricey to me. The good points are that it’s close to groceries, restaurants and liquor store. The beach is amazingly beautiful and very sandy which is nice. Would not recommend this campground and will not be returning.
