I would recommend this as a RV type of place. They do allow tents but I just don't think it's a great place for tents in general. I will say that they were very accommodating and allowing us to check in early I made a mistake in understanding when we were allowed to be there and they were gracious enough to allow us to set up early. Unfortunately I found the showers to be very cold. The hot water did not seem to last very long. But I will give it this month that the bathrooms were extremely clean better than I have seen most campgrounds. The ladies I dealt with during our stay and the lady that we checked out with were absolutely phenomenal. Enjoyed talking with the last one just before we left she was an absolute Delight to deal with. Personally I'm not saying don't go there I'm not saying go I am saying figure it out for yourself whether or not you feel this would be a place for you based on what you read. I do like the fact that there is water and electricity at every site. Did not get to use the fire pits as there was a fire ban on at the time but we were allowed to use a Propane fuel Fire Bowl which was okay. I understood why. It is close to the highway so there is traffic from the highway. And you do hear it but we noticed we didn't hear it once we got used to it and fell asleep it didn't bother us but it may bother other people again read up your areas before you book in.

Nice campground very convenient to the trans Canada highway. That was both a convenience and a reminder as the traffic can be heard from the location. Nice sized lots, some privacy fences. Nice clean washroom/shower. Friendly and helpful staff. The grain cleaning operation beside the campground is fairly noisy, as most grain operations are, but it did not run during the night so it was not an issue for sleeping.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Peanut Hill Campsite in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, as part of our cycling journey across Canada. Our group of nine cyclists was warmly welcomed by Jill, who was incredibly helpful in ensuring we had the best spot for our group. Jill went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay and our continued journey. Her friendly and attentive service made our experience at Peanut Hill Campsite truly exceptional. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, providing us with a comfortable and convenient stay. We highly recommend Peanut Hill Campsite to anyone looking for a great place to camp in Moose Jaw. Thank you, Jill, and the entire Peanut Hill team, for your outstanding hospitality!

Between a highway and a rail yard, but it's perfectly placed right off the trans Canada directly beside a gas station to get you on your way in the morning. If a bit noisy, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, as are the other travelers, and the lots are a good size. You can even get some with a privacy fence which for an overnight spot is really really nice! They've done a wonderful job making a park equal parts convenient and safe. If we ever drive the trans Canada again this is definitely going to be a stop.

We stayed 2 nights, welll 3, if you count the night we arrived at 2am. It was an easy campground to find. We found our spot no problem after a map was sent to us with directions as they knew we would be arriving in the wee early hours. We snuck in, parked, and went to bed and did the hookups the next morning, so we didn't disturb the other rvers. It is convenient to almost everything as long as you have a vehicle. We didn't hear the highway noise as we were far enough back, but we did hear the agricoop start up at 6am. It was a steady hum so it became more like white noise than annoying. The ladies at the front office were amazing as we changed our plans a time or two. We wound up staying an extra day so we could visit the Tunnels of Moose Jaw. Highly recommend this spot. We didn't go in to the washrooms but we hear they are pretty awesome. The building is huge and everything is clean and well looked after.
