Tips and Important Considerations
- Check Reservation Details: Ensure your reserved lot is accurately confirmed to avoid unexpected relocations.
- Accessibility: If you have mobility issues, confirm proximity to essential facilities like washrooms and the main building.
- Firewood Quantities: Clarify the amount supplied to avoid disappointment.
- Amenities Access: Some facilities may have restricted access depending on your type of stay (seasonal vs. weekend).
- Power Supply: Be aware of potential power issues at full-service lots and discuss compensation policies for inconsistent service.
Overall Thoughts
Pinnacle Trails Resort offers a rich array of activities suitable for families and kids, ensuring there's always something to do. The serene environment and friendly, helpful staff add to the charm. However, if you are a weekend visitor, you might find certain limitations in access to premium amenities and reserved spots. Overall, it's a delightful spot for seasonal stays and long-term leasing but comes with caveats for occasional campers.

Well, we booked an RV spot at the end of July for Sept Long Weekend, specifically lot 40 (easy access for washrooms and store due to me having medical impairments MS.... and I can't walk very far), which was available. We checked in on Friday, and the girls at the front were very helpful. They told us how to go to get parked and showed us on the map circling Lot 40 and everything. When we went to start backing our camper in a gentleman in an orange gator came speeding in demanding what we were doing... he freaked out, saying we couldn't camp in that spot that it had been sold. We explained that we had reserved it and the ladies at the front had confirmed as much. He told us that we had been moved. Told us we were in lot 47. Quite the distance from the Main building as well as the washrooms. We were to squeeze into a tiny lot with our neighbors Sewer line about 5ft from our firepit area. We had to put up a gazebo so people wouldn't continue to walk through our campsite. We paid $30 for wood and were very disappointed in how much we received when they had previously told us it was for a full gator load. The amenities were good and are great for kids, but it was a very stressful weekend all in all.

Resort was full of things to do. Kids spent a lot of time swimming. We rented a couple cabins and a campsite. Overall thought we received good value for the money. From the games room to washgun for quads etc etc it was a great experience.

As a seasonal resort this place would be a great family destination. As a “weekender” or occasional camper you’re treated like a second class citizen. All our interactions with staff were friendly and courteous however it’s very obvious that the goal of this place is to fill all their lots up as leased seasonal lots. We were bumped from our original booked spots as someone had long term leased our originally booked spot (this is very clear in the booking process but still annoying) Weekenders are not allowed into the “long house” that is advertised. Mini golf is a charge only for weekenders (free for seasonal holders) To be clear this is a nice resort. Very quiet. Very clean. The beach and swimming area along with the option for crown land access are great features. I wouldn’t return as a weekend guest but would absolutely recommend for someone looking to lease long term.

We have gone twice to this location and camped. Both times there has been issues with power at the full service lot we reserved. Disappointing that management didn’t at least offer a partial refund for being unable to provide consistent power at a full service lot.
