Dear Renfrew/Ottawa KOA I wanted to share my experience after spending a couple of days at your campground. My family and I appreciated the privacy our tent site provided—it was exactly what we were looking for. However, I noticed some areas that could use attention. The bathrooms were not in the best condition; there was mold, dirt, and overflowing garbage, which made it uncomfortable to use. I also observed that the staff was predominantly young, and while I understand that summer jobs are common for teens, it would be beneficial to have more experienced staff members on site. Some of the young staff members could use more training, particularly in customer service. The park itself could also benefit from some updates to enhance the overall experience for visitors. While our stay wasn’t terrible, I believe that with some TLC, especially regarding the bathrooms, staff, and general upkeep, the campground could offer an even better experience. Thanks for hosting us. I hope to see these improvements if we decide to visit again in the future. Best regards,
Rebecca C.

The tent sites are beautiful. I wasn’t sure what to expect, thinking our site would be out in a field and I was pleasantly surprised to find a wooded campsite that reminded me of my childhood camping in provincial parks. This was our first camping experience as a family. My children are young and one is autistic so I chose this campground due to the fact that it has a jumping pad and splash pad which would provide a sensory outlet. It wasn’t a quiet campground by any means, but it worked for us.

This place is our favorite place to go. The staff is always amazing and there to help with anything you might need and the park is very well kept and clean. It's super kid friendly and on pretty much all of the long weekends, they have all sorts of activities planned (example: face painting, candy bar bingo, scavenger hunt, Pancake breakfast, spaghetti dinner, dance on Saturday evening). At all times, they have mini putt, driving range, a park, a bounce pad, an rc car track, horseshoes, basketball, volleyball. The park is dog friendly (on leash), and there is a fenced in area to let your dog loose in. The beach is great also. There is an area sectioned off for kids to play in as well as a dock in the middle of the water that everyone enjoys jumping off of. They have cabins for rent (although you need to book these well in advance) that have a queen sized bed and a bunch bed. It also has a mini fridge. There are seasonal trailer spots as well as weekender spots and there is a location for tents as well.

Great place to visit! This was the best KOA we have ever stayed at. The staff were extremely friendly, campground very clean, and the sites are well groomed. The escort to our site was a very charming touch. Will definitely be back again. 😎

This is a wonderful family oriented campground with an excellent friendly staff and plenty of amenities. We are a couple traveling with a dog, so we did not use the Kid-friendly activities- but there seemed to be plenty, including a little track for radio controlled cars, which I have never seen before. Everything was clean and exceptionally well maintained. Our favorite part was the beautiful open space everywhere, lots of room to romp.
