One of my favorite campgrounds so far. The hike in is decently challenging but not too difficult. The campsites along the creek have the most amazing views of the falls. The falls themselves are breathtakingly beautiful and worth sitting and taking in for hours at a time. If you have time definitely go up to the lake! The rock wall scramble is fun and exhilarating and the views at the top are incredible and worth the effort.

A great camp ground that is approximately 8km in from the trail head. The camp grounds are well spaced apart and 3 of them back right onto the river. The falls are just closes enough to help you fall asleep with out being to loud. There are two communal fire pits and 8 large size bear locker bins. The outhouse is pretty standard, remember to bring your own hand sanitizer and toilet paper.

Great spot. But no wood provided like they advertise. The hike up to the lake is fun. Glad I left my heavy pack at the falls campground.

Did this for our first back packing trip and it was fantastic. The hike to the falls is absolutely beautiful. It’s about 11k or so and pretty easy terrain I’d say. We spent our first night by the falls and loved it. Second night we climbed to the lake, which I can definitely say was a bit difficult ( bring climbing gloves for the chain) but was well worth it! However the camp sites by the lake weren’t what I was expecting. Too busy and not enough privacy. But the overall trip was excellent.

I LOVED the ropes up the cliffs ! Amazing waterfall!!!! and the campground at the falls was really well taken care of!!!! I would recommend leaving your overnight gear at the falls campground while you hike the chains up the cliffs to the lake!
