We stayed at River Country Campground for one night at the beginning of October. We came with our RV quite late at night already, but the owner still let us in kindy and showed us around. The campground is nicely organized with clean bathroom and free hot showers. There’s also a place to wash dishes. We used a 3-service campsite and the price was great. I recommend staying at the water front for a spectacular morning view. Especially magical in autumn. Would love to stay there again!

This was our second visit here this summer. Owners - 👍 great country people!! Service - excellent. The campers - a real country community, friendly, full of laughter, etc. WE were three couples here for the October weekend marking an end to our summer of camping. The celebration (by the owners) was marked by a potluck supper and danse. Great food and great fun all around. SEE everyone all next camping season. We will be back!!! Great job by the owners!!

From the moment you arrive, the friendly and knowledgeable staff make you feel right at home, providing a warm welcome. The spacious campsites are thoughtfully designed to maximize privacy while still offering easy access to clean restrooms and hot showers, ensuring your comfort during your stay. We loved our stay! We'd been here before in 2019. New owners, for past 3 yrs, that have really upgraded the campgounds with many amenities! Love the yoga space overlooking the water, beautiful cabins to rent. We will be back :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here on the St John River! Shirley was so nice and so accommodating. Our site was gorgeous! Right on the river. The facilities are super clean, the sites are roomy and the whole park is peaceful. If we ever get back to this area we will stay longer at River Country Campground!!

Shirley will always try to accommodate. Once we showed up just as they were closing for the season... No problem. This time we had a failure of the water tank in our 5th wheel... Again no issues and Don lent a hand securing the tank so we could make it home. Great people, clean and tidy campground right on the river ... Highly recommend.
