Reviews Overview

Based on user feedback, Rock Garden Campground has a strong reputation for its cleanliness and well-organized structure. Visitors frequently commend the management for their hospitality and the variety of activities available. Here are some highlights gathered from user reviews:

  • Cleanliness: The campground is described as super clean and well-maintained, with regular upkeep of facilities like showers and fire pits.
  • Activities and Amenities: Activities such as kids' talent shows and organized events are a big hit. The playground and open play area for soccer and basketball are highly appreciated. There's also an on-site restaurant where you can enjoy homemade pizzas!
  • Family-Friendly: The campground is very family-oriented, with plenty of activities for children, making it a great place for family vacations.
  • Site Quality: Some larger RVs may find the pull-thru sites a bit tight, and there's room for improvement with firepit cleanliness. Additionally, some areas might have overgrown brush, limiting space for activities like setting up a campfire.
  • Relaxation: The campground's location away from the highway ensures a quiet and peaceful environment, perfect for a good night's sleep.

Important Considerations

While the campground receives generally favorable reviews, there are a few aspects to consider:

  • Site Size: If you have a larger RV, you may need to maneuver carefully to fit into some of the tighter pull-thru sites.
  • Fire Pit Maintenance: It might be a good idea to check the condition of your fire pit upon arrival and request cleaning if necessary.
  • Pool and Showers: Some guests noted that the pool could use a bit of cleaning and upgrading. Showers are kept fairly clean, but guests are expected to spray them down after use.

Absolutely love this campground. The couple that run it are just lovely. It's super clean, well run and just a treat to stay at. Activities are planned regularly for kids and adults alike and if you haven't had one of Cheryl's homemade pizzas you are definitely missing out!

Stayed 2 nights as we were passing thru the province with our 44 ft fifth wheel. They have pull thru sites but they are tight to get into with our size. Nice enough campground, found it relaxing for our 2 nights. Rating might have been better but we had to ask to get the firepit cleaned out of plastics and such.

We stayed a week ago at this cute & cosy little Campground. It was the first stop on our 10day trip with our new camper and 2 kids under 6 for the first time. The staff was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. They have lots of activities for all. They had a kids talent show and music that night. The playground was great and has a large open play area for soccer/basketball. The pool is the reason for my 4 stars. Needs a bit of cleaning/upgrading. The showers were kept fairly clean. You're responsible for spraying down the shower with bleach cleaner afterwards. We had site #92 & it was just big enough for our half ton & 16' hybrid camper. There wasn't enough room for us to have a fire. The seasonal site beside us has overgrown brush that spilled onto our picnic table & awning. Other campers were very friendly and helpful also. It is far enough off the highway to have a nice quiet sleep. They have an on site restaurant. We didn't try it but that is a nice feature. Dumping site is conveniently right before leaving the Campground. Overall we would come back to this site purely for the atmosphere and vibe of this place. Our kids loved it!

Had a great time this summer here. Quiet, clean, great staff, my niece and nephew loved this place and the pool, Halloween weekend really spoiled them, great pricing on sites and food, food was awesome too when you got too lazy to campfire cook. Cellular was just at the edge of internet service, but was still able to share it to the TV, never used it much as we usually fell asleep from long days of activities lol.

Growing up I always came here almost every year during the summer for at least one week at a time. I remember coming with my grandparents and being super excited to play at the playground, getting slushies from the store, and playing mini golf with the family I came with. There are many paths around to seasonals and I remember wandering around with a bike I brought. I have very fond memories of this place and I strongly recommend to families with young children. There are sites right close to the main building where the shop and pool is, and right across from the park where you can easily watch your children from your site.
