Gorgeous park. I like coming through here during the summer. The layout of the trail loops around the lake and does not force you to backtrack. Rolley Lake is also a great environment to camp at. I never had any problem with the wildlife there.

Rolley Lake Provincial Park Campground was incredible, and we had a great time there. The campground was quiet and relaxing during our midweek stay. Given its proximity to many cities in Greater Vancouver, I assume it gets busier on weekends and long weekends. Pros: • The staff are respectful and friendly. • Dry toilets are conveniently located near every 4-5 campsites. • Flush toilets and hot showers are available. • Both flush and dry toilets are well-maintained and cleaned multiple times a day. • Rolley Lake is perfect for swimming, paddling, and canoeing. • There’s a day-use area next to the lake beach with plenty of free parking and picnic tables. • Charcoal barbecues are allowed in the day-use area. Cons: • There are no power outlets available for charging phones or using blow dryers. Make sure you take a generator or at least power-bank!

December 30 2023 - if you're planning winter camping, this place is open all year around, and offers walk-in camping spots. Just arrive, choose a spot and the ranger would check you in. Plan to bring money as they don't accept cards. During winter there's no tap water, so plan to bring your water, there's no hot showers or flushable toilets that are closed and locked. Bring your toilet paper and plan to use the pit toilets. There's a number that you can call if you need firewood, so the ranger would bring it to you and again, plan to pay with paper money. It was raining this weekend so the temperatures didn't fall less than 8 or 9 Celsius even during the night. The campsite occupation was I'd say 30 or 40% .. they have around 60 spots anyways so if you're planning a winter camping, this is a nice and close by place to go. The closest cornerstore is probably 10 min away, and there are farms selling firewood close to the camping entry road as well for 10 bucks. There's a waterfall 10 min hike away, and make sure to keep your left on the trail as there's another hike downwards. The beach has sand, and there's a day use area ( quite limited I'd say ) so it may become crowded on sunny days. I hope these tips can help you as they helped me. Cheers

Camp ground was so peaceful and well-maintained. Washrooms were excellent. Were getting sanitized very regularly.

Stayed for 2 nights and it was a lovely time. Very peaceful and quiet area. Was nice to have a full washroom & shower facility (though it can be a bit of a walk, especially after nightfall, depending on which campsite spot you’re at).
