Visitor Tips and Important Considerations

  • While the resort strives to provide clean facilities, some guests have noted that maintenance in bathroom facilities, particularly near tent sites, could be improved. It's advisable to bring extra bathroom essentials just in case.
  • The cabins offer a cozy indoor experience, but be mindful of the room sizes if you're traveling with infants or small children. The master bedroom is spacious, but the smaller rooms may be cramped for extra equipment like travel cribs.
  • If you're sensitive to noise or seeking a quiet stay, note that some guests have reported late-night activities and insufficient enforcement of sound rules, particularly in areas close to common stages or playgrounds.
  • Privacy can be limited in some camping spots, especially those close to shared amenities like outdoor kitchens. Bringing a long electrical cord is recommended as hookups can be situated far from certain sites.
  • For those who prefer a more private setting, consider booking early and requesting specific sites that may offer more seclusion.

Overall Thoughts

Rondalyn A Parkbridge Camping & RV Resort is appreciated by many families for its ample activities and kid-friendly facilities. However, attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and noise control could enhance the overall experience. With a bit of preparation and strategic site selection, it can be an enjoyable retreat for camping enthusiasts and family gatherings.

Cleanliness and stocking of bathroom supplies still ongoing 6 months later. Filthy bathrooms down near tent site. Have had to ask several times for toilet paper. Paper towel and for floorsto be washed. This is a high use washroom. Code given is wrong. Well patrolled campground so it's not like they can't stop in and add supplies. Front desk friendly. Pool nice.

First time visit. We stayed at cabin 49. 2/10 for sleeping. The master bedroom was nice enough, but the second bedroom with the bunk was unexpectedly small. We intended to use it for our travel crib, but it is not possible in that space...baby got the master and we slept in the living room because kiddo will not sleep if sharing a room. If you have kids able to sleep in bunks this would not be an issue for you - however I would suggest the room description be amended to represent the size and limitation of the room. It was clean and as well appointed as can be expected for a cabin. Other than that this place was lovely. So much to do for kids, felt reasonably safe and things were very clean. We would absolutely return, maybe in an RV next time!

Stayed at Rondalyn over the long weekend with our kids. We had heard its very family oriented and a nice, quiet place to go. We were trying to avoid loud and parties etc. It seems Rondalyn does not enforce their sound rules as the campground was very loud until about 11/11 30pm on our first night there. There is a stage behind the campsites that I guess is common? area for all to use which turned into a play place for the entire campground, 10' behind our tent where we were trying to put little kids to sleep. Golf is open at 10am yet people were golfing both mornings by 9am. Seems like the resort has all sorts of rules but I guess they aren't enforced? Great place to go party it seems if you dont have little kids to worry about!

Ok, not even sure where to start. I booked a site, 3 months in advance after researching full service sites on the south end of the island. We asked for a private site and ended up with the exact opposite. We wanted to use our trailer to the full extent and I thought Rondalyn was it, but boy was I wrong. We were put in a round about(T5) sandwiched directly beside 3 neighbors. We were so close that we could hear the one neighbor snor at night, the others flush their toilet and the kids from the 3rd were running under our tent trailer at 9pm at night. There was ZERO privacy. It definitely was not camping, it was staying in our trailer because we felt it was our only private space. Not to mention there was an outdoor kitchen area right outside our trailer that everyone used daily. Was very intrusive. There was 1 (single) hook up for 3 sites to share, both water and power. We were told to bring a long cord, bit now I understand why, it's FAR away. There is a pool, yes, but the washrooms on the pool deck are never cleaned, they smell so bad of urine they are unusable. We were so disappointed that after 2 days, we left. I want my money back, but I knew there was a risk, renting only on other reviews. So we just ate the bill and left.. There were people partying and kids yelling until way past lights out time and no one around to do anything about it. But funny, there is always someone driving around on a golf cart. Hmmmm. Needles to say, it was not the resort we were hoping for. It's for some, but wasn't for us. I just want an honest review here so we can save someone else from the waste of money.

We had fun camping 🏕 😄. This site is clean and perfect for family with kids. Pools & the basketball court gave the kids time to enjoy themselves while we adults had our chit chat. Icecream 🍦 is available in the shoppe.
