Healey’s Pond at Rotary Sunshine Park is a nice pond to SUP on in the summer. It does tend to get busy on the beaches during nice days, so I would recommend pumping your board up (if you have an iSUP) in the parking lot and walking down with it, which is a bit of a pain, but at least you don’t have to worry about finding enough space on the beach to pump it up there. The little side beach is ideal to launch from and even when there are lots of people swimming etc, there’s still plenty of space to paddle on the pond.

This place is a little bit of a hidden gem not only for the summertime where you can use the beach but there are plenty of little trails that you can walk on and it's very pet friendly. It's not too far outside of the city yet provides a lot of nature
