About This Campsite

Welcome to Scotts Campground, a destination for campers seeking a convenient and reasonably priced location for their outdoor adventures. This campground is appreciated for its well-kept grounds, pet-friendly atmosphere, and entertainment options such as a pool for kids and grandkids. Address: Unfortunately, specific address details are not provided for Scotts Campground. City: Information regarding the city is also not available. Scotts Campground has received mixed reviews from its visitors. Several positive aspects include the lush, clean, and well-maintained grassy areas, reasonable pricing, and the friendly nature of most of the staff who are willing to assist with parking and general inquiries. Reviewers have noted the presence of a bus stop conveniently located right out front, adding to the location's accessibility. However, it's important to take into consideration the feedback about some less favorable aspects. Some campers have expressed concerns about the campground's muddy conditions and cleanliness levels, specifically mentioning issues with the washrooms. The campground's proximity to a strip club and the presence of less appealing campers can be off-putting for some. There have been reports of the staff being relatively unhelpful, with management described as having a poor attitude towards customer complaints. For those sensitive to noise, it's worth noting that there is a train nearby, although it hasn't been a significant disturbance for all guests. Overall, while Scotts Campground offers several conveniences and is an appealing choice for campers with pets or families looking for recreational activities, potential visitors should weigh the concerns raised about customer service and site conditions, especially in rainy weather.

Fairly priced for the area. On arrival I was a bit concerned with the dumpy campers and trailers around the parameter not to mention the strip club, "gentleman's" club and "spa" across the street. After walking the grounds and walking to the grocery store I felt safe. The transient site area was clean and nice grass. Bus stop was right out front. The train did not bother me. Staff was ok but not overly friendly or knowledgeable when it came to tourist questions. We walked to the KOA next door and got our bus passes after googling.

This is a very clean, well kept park. Washrooms are very clean and well stocked. The park and pool are great entertainment for your kids or grandkids. The staff were very helpful helping us park our trailer and with anything else we needed. Reasonable prices as well. Pet friendly of course.

BEWARE!! Absolutely atrocious, disgusting and rude behavior from all staff. The worst being the manager. She has very bad attitude with no respect for campers and doesn't listen to complaints. They take your $50 deposit and then it's downhill from there. They drive with golf carts and let you know very often that we will lose our $50 deposit if anthing happens. The washrooms are filthy with freezing water for showers. The campsites are very small. No wifi unless you sit in the office. Not kid friendly at all. There was water and mud everywhere. Your feet will sink a good couple of cm in the ground. They don't try to move you to dry area. Our car got stuck in the mud and they told us to call a Tow truck and pay out of pocket! They tell you it's not their fault it rains. I wish there was a zero star option instead of one. Will never return again. FYI: One minute away from Scott's is KOA Campsite and Campark Resorts. Highly recommend going there instead.

There are a lot of things to like about this campground, but when you go 4 days without hot water for the showers none of them really matter. People that work there are very nice and friendly. They take awesome care of the grass. Very thick and lush unlike other campgrounds that have bare dirt spots. Most of the sites have a nice shade tree. Those that don't are for the large rigs that probably prefer not to have a tree. No issues with excessive noise at late hours. Bathroom facilities are old and a little run down, but tolerable. Reasonably clean. I would give a 4 star rating, but we stayed 4 nights and there was no hot water in the showers the entire time. That should have been noticed and fixed within a day considering the importance to guests like me.
