This is a beautiful campsite but is 65 km from the beaches and boardwalks of Pointe-Taillon. To put a kayak in the water you must be able to carry it down a long gravel path and to swim you need water shoes. Yes, it is a beautiful place with nice campsites but if you are looking for birds, beaches or marshes do not book here. Extremely disappointing.

My very first camping experience (I always wanted to try) and it turned out to be a revelation 😍This camping was amazing in every aspect. (It couldn’t have been more perfect) ! ~The rangers were so kind and helpful ~The site and scenery was breath taking with the Lac St-Jean being right behind our campsite ~Excellent facilities for a first time camper (Toilets, showers, outside sinks, dry toilets within walking distance and safe even at night, water faucet near every camping spot) ~Bike rental affordable (If I remember 30$ for 4 hours) ~ Bike repair kits and tools available ~Interest points and locations at 25min by car ~Sepaq Camping Ground was fairly new (! Year in service) (For reference; My friend and I rented a camping spot with a firepit and splitted the cost between us, so It came to about 75$ for 3 days. Which is in my opinion really affordable) Completely personal and subjective 😇but the best feeling in the world is waking up to birds chirping with the sound of waves gently awaking you and to prepare your morning coffee surrounded by nature … what a wonderful moment !

It's a new place, well built, it's not "rustic" camping so you have amenities close to the camping place (bathroom, water), you can also go to the Centre d'accueil and they have bathrooms with 2 big family bathroom with warm water to shower, you can rent bikes, kayaks, paddle boards and people is very nice. Recommendation: try getting one of the spots between 417 and 421, and you will have an access to the St Jean Lake from your spot

Beautiful campsites, wonderful lake access, easily accessible toilets, but showers a bit small. The staff, especially park maintenance, were exceptional. Very nice stay!

Very nice, quiet site but the showers and toilets can be quite a walk away depending on your terrain even if it is done by car too.
