This is an older RV park, but the owners are in the process of updating it. It was quiet. The staff and other campers were very friendly. The sites are pull-through, with 30 amp hook-ups, water, and sewage hook-ups. The ladies restroom was clean, with plenty of hot water. The men's was less clean. There is a playground for children. The manager had stepped away, but when we called someone told us where to park and the manager came by later. They have permanent residents, but also rent by the night.

This place must be closed. I phoned the number attached to this site. They did not answer the phone. I was in need of a spot as i have just got back from the USA. I drove to the site. No one was around. I asked one of the individuals i saw beside a trailer. I asked if the know where the manager is. He said he didn't believe there was one. I asked how to get in touch with some one. He said to text the number. I did so asking if this number was a good number for shakers acres. The return message said yes it was. I indicated that i have called several times and no one has answered. I asked if they have any open spots,, Still no reply. needed a place to set up my trailer so i did not have to stay at Walmart to the east of them. I drove to the campgrounds down the highway to the south west of them. I am glad to say i was greeted by a very nice young lady and have a spot for the summer

We have decided to make this campground home for an indefinite time. We had the choice of several all year round campgrounds. Although the price is a few dollars more a month, this is why I feel it is worth it: 1. They have the most clean, tidy, well maintained park in the Edmonton area with up to date everything! 2. They are dog friendly with a HUGE park alongside to accommodate my pups! I found other parks to be a little more jaded towards one of my pups but this park has no discrimination. 3. The lots are large in size, even ground, nice pads and easy to maneuver a large unit! 4. The staff: as the RV LIVING vs. our usual remote casual camping, I have had lots of questions, concerns and each and every time, they are accommodating and helpful. 5. The rules are welcomed. We have attempted to stay seasonal at other parks in the past (hence why we ended up doing remote camping instead) and paid much more, only to be disturbed through party goers, fighting dogs (and I love my dogs) and owners that tell us that this is how it goes...NOT I want my stay to be relaxing and enjoyable; follow the rules and all is great! Rules are appreciated... And the new owners is bringing lot of changes and in future we can see major updates.
