Overall the resort is amazing. Staff are constantly cleaning and fixing anything that needs it! The maintenance staff also helped us with our new trailer! Great guy! Beach is great. Water decent. The pool is a wee small. I wish there was a second pool. Love the dog park and so did my dogs!!! My friends had cabins and the beds need some TLC - I laid down and it literally felt like laying on ply wood. Other than that- would recommend to others!

really well maintained and fun for kids. Pool is way too small though and wish there was another pool. Beds in the cabins feel like you're sleeping on the floor. also in the cabins no where to put your stuff no shelving no drawers. kind of dissatisfied with the actual cabin but not the site or service.

Visited Shamadon this weekend and it was our very first time there. Here and some pros and cons PROS: - easy check in- fast and efficient. Store front is clean and inviting - large groomed driveways which was perfect for a large truck and 30ft camper. No scary corners- perfectly thought out. - large clean sites(we were on a concrete pad also) - firewood delivered to your site before arrival- 1 bag per night, extras can be purchased - garbage picked up twice daily on your site. -large play area for children, bounce pillow basket ball court, walking trails and playground. - fair size pool- there was approx. 15 in when we were there and it didn't feel crowded (was dirty but was a windy day so it was all from the trees). -beach area welcoming. 2 large inflatables in water, beach hut and area to fish around the back side. - dog park HUGE and the best part was the water feature that was fenced in. If you didn't want your dog to get wet you just didn't let them in that area. It was clean and our dogs enjoyed the space. -the view from the transient sites at the top of the hill are breathtaking at night. Saturday the milky way was bright, bright moon and millions of stars- just perfect. - Saturday Zoo to you for the kids was amazing and free popcorn was a hit as well. Who knew the kids would be petting an alligator! Kids loved it CONS: -parking 2nd vehicle at front parking lot. Not that it was an issue to have a second car somewhere but not knowing how far of a walk it was into our site with things in our hands. Wish there was opportunity to be shuttled back on a golf cart or something if needed ( I did not ask to be shuttled back so I don't know if this is already an option or not). - lack of sizing for sweaters. Wanted to purchase 2 sweaters when we left. They had no adult small or large. Lots of youth and lots of 2xl and 3xl. In summary, our visit was great! We will definitely be back next year. There is lots of reviews about the pricing and I thought it was a bit pricier when I booked but when you are sitting in the park and see how large it is and all the amenities especially for kids, its worth every penny- I actually now don't think its overpriced for what you get. Sad we didn't get a sweater to flaunt around BUT we will be back so there is always next year.

We have been coming to this resort for years and decided to get a seasonal site in 2022. Love the beach and aqua-slide jumpy, heated pool, laundry facilities are convenient, kids jumpy pillow and Park. There are horseshoe tournaments and a Pavillion. Weekend events are always being scheduled. The dog park is amazing too! Lots of great people! Very nice management too. Overall, a great family resort with friendly staff.

This was a two night stay over on our way to another campground. We didn't want to leave. It was a hit with all family members. Leonardo loves the dog park and pool. My son loved the beach. My wife and I loved the pool and loved just walking through the park. Cement level pads, firewood and garbage pickup. Great service. We will be back for sure.
