Parked at the Rotary Park Pavilion, went to the west, passed through the elevated boardwalk. Once got to the west side of the boardwalk, followed a small path to the water. Then went further to the Squires Outlook along the water. The natural lake view was beautiful, especially when there were some come-and- go fog patches. Out and back was about 5km. It was a Friday morning and the weather was good, the trail was not busy. Parking was free on weekdays. There were portable washrooms near the pavilion.

One crazy white elder lady approached and yielded us to let us move to provide her grandson a cleaner path to ride bicycle. Never come again.

This beautiful waterfront and recreation point at Barrie on the Simcoe Lake is very popular. It offers very enchanting view of the lake and is very nicely done. I would strongly recommend a visit there.
