About 10 years ago, we dropped into this camp after a bad experience at a provincial one. For only one weekend, we were able to enjoy the natural beauty and were delighted with the clean amenities. Within a year, we had purchased a trailer on a lot there. Since then, we spent pretty much every weekend from May to Oct at 'camp' in our little paradise. The regular weekend drive from Hamilton (4 hours) was well rewarded with new friends and experiences. Meeting people not only from Sudbury and Canada but also from all over the world. I remember a family from France who came at the tail end of their North American tour. Upon renting a canoe (first time ever in a canoe) they went fishing and were ecstatic to catch one. Mike cleaned it and they had for dinner. They said it was the best part of their trip and better than New York. Now, being both retired, we spend about 5 months a year here . It and the people are clearly paradise.

My boyfriend, his friend and myself just stumbled across this place in the summer of 2016 and it was one of the gems of our trip. We had been turned away at Killarney park after driving 6-8 hours from the Windsor/London area and were desperate to find a place to pitch our tent before dark that night. The owners were absolutely fantastic and super helpful. It made the ending to a stressful day so much better. The campsite was nice and dry despite having rained, we loved that there were showers available and the waterfront was gorgeous. We will definitely be back the next time we head further North again. I truly can't say enough good things about this place, we absolutely loved our short stay here and highly recommend it!

Transient campsites are extremely close with zero privacy. We were expecting much nicer sites with the great reviews. People are very friendly and helpful. Darlene offered us a refund but we chose to stay and enjoy everyone's close company.

The owner/manager accommodated me on the beginning of my road trip to the Yukon. Friendly, they were not open yet for the season, but provided a safe quiet place to rest. Thank you. Looks like a nice intimate park, with plenty of wildlife.

We had 2 Transient campsites. #16 was extremely close to the others with zero privacy. #18 was very uneven and uphill and very difficult to level our motor home on. We were expecting much nicer sites with the great reviews. People were not very friendly. The only good thing was the $1 - 5 mins shower, because there are no sewers on their sites for convenient dumping and you do not want to fill up your grey tank too quickly. We Will definitely not recommend nor camp here again.
