I visited the park during mid August 2024. Not a car in sight. The entrance building was vacant and looks as if it is not in use anymore. Navigating through the park roads was very difficult. There are not many signs to follow. The trails were unkept. Trees have fallen on the paths and were left for hikers to hike over them. The photos that have been posted on Google in the past do not look like what I saw today. On the plus side, the park was very quiet. I feel like this park could be magical in the winter months.

Trails at Springwater were very easy to navigate and are not difficult. The trail paths were fairly wide and flat which contributed to the ease of navigating. As well, all of the trails loop back to a central point. Due to the proximity to rail tracks, on occasion you may be able to see a train pass by along the trail paths that run parallel to the tracks. There were also ample space for picnics and groups on site as there were many picnic areas. The park is also best known for its Christmas lights (Magic of Lights) attraction during the holidays which is a drive through trail of lights at night. Overall, the park is a good park for hiking or walking trails as it is not too difficult.

Visit on March 29, 2024 for family walk. Had enjoyed this park for years, and the kids loved it when they had rescue animals there. Park now operated by Beausoliel First Nations a d Parks Ontario. Great trails, some infrastructure requires maintenance.

Loved my early morning hike in the early fall. Amazed with all the First Nations long houses and a sweat lodge! I was a little disappointed with all the big white tents giant lights and plywood fun houses that were there for the Halloween event.
