If you’re looking for the HEART of Alberta you’ll find it in the manager who maintains this campground. I’ve watched her busy making sure all her guests are getting 5 star experience which can be seen in the well kept grounds, longer term residence loving their life here and the bathrooms, immaculately clean, great free showers with a laundry room to match. I’m an energy person, attempting to walk across Canada staying in as many campgrounds as possible. This by far was the nicest, peaceful rest I desperately needed. It was like finding my paradise for my one day off. Thank you so much for the great hospitality, I really needed to find the heart of Alberta and it’s in strathmore AG campground.

We loved staying here. Customer service was great and it is awesome for families. My three year old had a blast playing with all the kids staying there as well. Location is good too. We would definitely come back. Thank you!

This was a great campground for our first experience long term camping. We have 2 kids and a dog and stayed from November to June. The shower house was always clean and same with the laundry facilities. The staff are friendly and answer quickly if you need anything. My kids loved the park and swimming pool nearby as well. Just generally a good place to stay and very well maintained.

Pros: Restrooms where clean and heated which was nice... Cons: It was extremely hard to get a hold of anyone once there, the tent camp site I was setup at (81) was pretty noisy in terms of road traffic, and seriously, no drinking water for those tenting!? This is much more trailer park, than RV camp ground... out of the 700km+ bike packing through Alberta, this ranked the worst in experience... highly recommend campers find alternative locations and dodge this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Strathmore AG Campground! A busy campground but still peaceful. We arrived during stampede time and Sherry managed to squeeze us in! Sherry was a very welcoming hostess and went out of her way to ensure our stay was great. We didnt know the area and had trouble finding the campground so Sherry came to meet us in her car and guide us to the campground. Thanks Sherry! The sites were a good size and level with services available from water/15-30 amp to full service. I was thankful for a shaded lot. :) She also told us of a great breakfast restaurant in town PJs diner and the car show that was happening. The washrooms were well kept and nice hot - free showers. Definitely would stay here again.
