Heading here from the trappers fuel station, you had to drive 40 minutes of gravel roads. This is as of August 2024. The drive is of poor visibility due to combo of dust and fog. It is posted for 90kph top speed but be cautious. Best to head here before daylight is done. We stayed over night on bay 1, lot 16. The area was fairly separated per site by bushes. The sites are evenly set and we did not need to level our vehicle. There is available picnic table and fire pit. I can only speak for bay 1 as there is where we stayed. The outhouses we fair, but there were no hooks whatsoever to hang a light or even a small bag, and there are no clear roofing so if you need to do your necessities, best to do them in daylight as it is impractical without any lights. There are 2 of them and we checked the other one and same conditions are present. There is a beach as well but no shower nor any water for rinsing. There is a deep well but it says out of order and appears to be decommissioned for a few years already. My suggestion to others will be to bring an extra jug of tap water for rinsing as none is available close by.

My favorite camping spot. Cell service is great in the campground, not so much once you leave it. The roads coming in are pretty rough but manageable, definitely have to drive slower in some spots. The road into the campground area is very narrow with washboards. I honestly hate that there's only 2 bathrooms per bay, I feel like there should be another at the top of the bays. If you're at the beginning or end of bay 1, it's on top of a huge hill with the bathroom at the bottom. It's quite the hill to climb when you have to go lol. Very nice beach area and a few other places you can swim as well. Nice playground for kids. Great boat launch with lots of space. Buy wood before you come at either Tall Timber Lodge or Nopiming Lodge, as their hours are only til 6/8pm. Bring lots of water as there's none at all at the campground.

The falls are beautiful. The spots are roomy with coverage. No running water and modern outhouses. Was warned of bear and wolf activity in the area to be food smart while camping. The path through the Forrest is beautiful and takes you through many different areas worth seeing. The drive in the fall was beautiful and worth the time spent here.

Best campground I have EVER been to. I stayed in yurt #4 and it was nothing short of amazing. Check out the view! There is no running water out here, but there are electrical sites you can book in bay 2. The fishing was great!

Try the cliff diving. Just remember to jump left. That's the advice I got from the local kids.
