Clean, well kept, and so quiet. Gated safe oasis. Camping space is an open grassed field with water and electric hook ups. $60 a night was a little steap but for the peaceful evening it was worth it. Sewer dump station is available near the washroom house. We would definitely stay again over the other 2 camp sites at the start of the road. If your looking for a relaxing night with a communal fire pit, beautiful view of the lake with a dock this is your place!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Maria Camp. Peter was very friendly, funny and welcoming. I had a great sense of humour and we immediately felt as we were at home. We spend an amazing night in the cabin after a long trip. The pierogies were delicious. We had an lovely time playing piano. If we come back in Ontario, we will definitely go back here. I 100% recommend.

We stayed at Villa Maria for 17 days to be close to a family member in hospital. The grounds were clean, water and power hookup for trailer sites, and the washrooms and Showers were cleaned daily. It was quiet with a lovely dock and Community fire pit. So glad we opted for here rather than the 2 other campgrounds on Richard Lake which were packed in like sardines. The staff were amazing as well. Great family campground especially if you're looking to camp close to everything in Sudbury.

Peter, the manager was great. We made arrangements over the phone. We arrived to find the grounds amazing. All nicely mowed with new power and water hookups, picnic tables at the sites. The property is right on the lake ,so the views were great. Peter also has perogies for sale, that we’re delicious. The only reason I didn’t give it a five were the showers. There was very little water pressure and it was hard to keep the temperature consistent . Otherwise it was a great place to stay and I would go back again

My husband and I have stayed here twice and we will definitely go back! The accommodations are fantastic. This last time, we went up with my mom and dad - who rented one of the cabins - and Father Piotr suggested we park our trailer on an angle up against their cabin so it felt like we were in our own private campground. The campground got very busy toward the end of our stay but it never felt overcrowded. I was still very comfortable letting our kids run around, could see them anywhere they went on the campground. My dad, husband and kids had a a great time fishing off the dock and off our own private beach. Piotr was accommodating, his sense of humour made us feel like we were right at home and he responded to our texts, phone calls and emails very quickly. The only thing about the camp is the lack of trees BUT we were able to find or create shade still pretty easily. Add to that, Father Piotr has planted more trees so they will grow. Also, I can't let this go before I say something about the jaw-dropping ORGANIC garden that is absolutely enormous. We had fun walking around it and pointing out the different types of plants plus the wild blueberries you can pick! Just wow! Have already recommended this campsite to my friends that love camping at Provincial Parks! All in all, a great experience and we will be back!
