We had a great experience for night camping. Every site has their own personal camping space with no disturbance. They have a park store that sells all camping necessities including coffee, snacks and ice cream. Don't miss the opportunity of stargazing. It is a well maintained park and has clean washrooms.

First time we stayed here we remember not enjoying it. I think because we were in a spot surrounded by screaming kids and we enjoy the quiet of nature. (We don't have kids yet. This view will change ahah) This time we enjoyed our stay. It was mainly a place to sleep while we day tripped to Montreal. But we did get some good fishing in before leaving. Caught a largemouth and a pike pretty quickly after we started shore fishing. Which was unexpected. Next time we have to bring our boat! Was peaceful and quiet during our stay. Campsites were big and clean. Private! We will be back ! Note: Aug 16-18 2024 site 279

That's the cleanest park I've camped in Ontario. I got a nice spot close to the lake, and it was a fantastic night. The bathrooms were very clean, and the services were well organized. I will be back for sure. I would like to thank your staff.

My boys and I went here as we love nature trails and looked forward to checking this one out. There is an entrance fee to access the park whether or not you're camping, and we probably should have asked for a site map. Regardless, we made our way to the main parking area at the beach. We weren't here to swim or picnic, but plenty of others were. Everyone seemed like they had lots of space to set up at the picnic tables and there were drinking stations, bathrooms and a general store. We had to use my trail app to figure out where to start the walk, and ended up cutting through a bunch of long grass before we found it. While we had beautiful views of the river as we progressed, the trail didn't look like it had been maintained - there were quite a few fallen trees we had to step over or around. We ended up taking the road back after one of the boys found a tick on his ankle. They were both in long pants, socks and long sleeved shirts, but both ended up finding ticks on them once we got home. Sadly, I don't think we'd go back for the trail, and we're not big campers, but the beach looked great so that might pull us back.

Very beautiful park, lots of hydro spots and non hydro… great beach, trails, showers, laundry facilities, store with a food counter where you can get drinks and small sandwiches. Great for overnight camping or day pass. Close to Hawkesbury where you can get groceries, shop and get a bite to eat… only 15 minutes away from the park. Really enjoyed our visit
