This is the world’s longest fresh water beach with the shoreline extending more than 12km in length. Beautiful place with small local shops selling food and beach items. Public and private parking is available rates vary from day to day for private parking. There are public washrooms and they aren’t maintained and there is no hygiene whatsoever. The beach itself is pretty clean. One should visit on a sunny day to enjoy the sunset view from the beach. The water is very pristine so one can enjoy in water as well on a warm day. Great place for a weekend trip.

Wasaga Beach is perfect for any age group! The water is shallow, the sand is great, and there are no big waves, making it safe and relaxing. It’s an ideal spot for a holiday, with food courts nearby to enjoy some snacks or meals. However, the restrooms are poorly maintained, which can be a downside. Also, parking isn’t free, and the cost depends on the spot or area you choose.

Great location, great beach. Definitely a touristy destination so expect a large crowd, any time of day. The beach was less crowded before noon and really began to fill up by 1:30/2:00. Cute shops along the beach selling food, beachwear and beach accessories including floaties, umbrellas etc. Prices are a little on the high side.

My first visit to this area 1. Arrived at after 10 am, lots of parking in the first parking lot. Close to the washroom. We found a gazbo across the street, which works out well. I do recommend bringing your table and chair in case there is no bench available. We were near the beach and there was a spot to tan of you don't want to watch to the main beach.
