Riding Mountain NP is next door to the town of Wasagaming which is very touristy but pretty. The site I was in was not level, #233. The Wishing Well was less crowded and had a good view of Clear Lake. I also drove to the Bison Pen but would suggest not going in the middle of the day because they are all resting under the trees and can't be seen. The drive is also on a rough gravel road. Would I stay there again? Probably not just because I like peace and quiet.

Nice clean and very quiet park, it has a nice pet friendly, groomed beach. The lake was good. There appears to be every service in the park, there is a nice children's play structure and multiple games at the beach as well.

This is a great campground very large in size. We stayed in an otentik which I highly recommend. They are great option for camping. If you don’t want to bring your own tent. I’ve always found the bathrooms and common areas to be quite clean. Where the Otentiks are situated is a bit far from the service sites. Having bikes was very handy.

The wood that we bought was wet and some of it was still green, we were given another free bad just for it to be just as wet as the other 2 bags. The people that checked for food and garbage at night were loud and flashed their bright lights directly at our tent. Not fault of the place but still sucky is people were loud later then should be. While the site was nice overall it was a mediocre experience, I still had fun and would be up to giving the site another try but not anytime soon, and the campfire pit was kinda bad

W love coming this campground, and come back every year. I give it only 3 stars now because the campground is starting to get run down. Very minimal maintenance is done. Most of the sites have very little gravel left now. Many sites get drowned out in the rain. We were there for 10 days and the grass was never cut. It’s nice that the campground is close to the townsite. Eventually it will get so run down many will stop coming out, if they don’t start updating the campground soon!
