Its absolutely good for a walk or hanging out with friends. It is big and has a lot of open space. However I did not see many places with a roof like a closed area, just one or two places with a roof and a few desks and benches. I guess the whole place is focused around The Theoretical Physics Building. Loved the water spray tree thing and the fountain.

I did not know this gem was here. A really nice place for all to visit. Just so serene. Great place to take the family for a stroll around the pond. The towering buildings in the background reflecting in the water makes a really good photo opportunity. I went at dusk so I did not get to see the other areas of the park but it seems like a good place for a picnic or to study.
