Nice campground with 2 sandy beaches, curious animals stopping by, good view, clean toilets

Great camping sites, many amenities to try and places around to explore, cafes, restaurants, convenience store and watercraft to rent. Facilities are clean and well maintained. The lake water is crystal clear and the fact that the lake was made by a meteorite makes it more interesting. 🤓

This is a beautiful campground near West Hawk lake. There are playground, you can do scuba diving, swim in the lake. But water even in a very hot days will be refreshing. Close to it a short trail with a lot of scenic views.The one big minus here that at night in the tent you can hear the car's noise from the highway 1 and some sites are not flat.

Looked great.... till you really looked around Every bathroom had something broken, toilet or hand dryer or both. The showers are coin op but don't expect them to stay on ... I timed it and it cut out halfway thru leaving soap and shampoo in my eyes. The coin machine (that only takes cash) was broken and the office closes early so nonone to help. Beautiful place but only if you bring all your own amenities... might have like it if I was Glamping Staff are nice available during business hours
