The campground is like a second home to me. If you’re looking for fun actives for kids and adults going on the weekend is perfect. If you’re looking for some quiet time coming during the week is also perfect. There so many things to do either than just the many activities they have on the weekends like their pool, arcade, playgrounds and ice cream shop that are open throughout the week. Also a very nice place to watch the sunset. 10/10

Review updated! The owner Trevor was quick to response to our concerns when he was made aware of our issues and has offered to refund our camping fees, which is much appreciated! The bathrooms though rough were very clean and spacious. So based on that, I've upgraded the rating to three stars. -----Original Review - 1 star This is NOT a friendly place for daily campers. I am travelling with 2 people in a 22" campervan and had to pay an additional $40 to pitch my small tent next to the van for one night (I wasn't even provided my own site for the money!). It was a long walk uphill to the washrooms. No WiFi. Had to listen to the loud music and loud talking of seasonal campers late into the night. It was our worst camping experience in all of Nova Scotia.

Like someone else said "Dale was incredibly helpful"... He guided us right to the site, helped us back-in. No nonsense or stupid rules. People aren't going to bed at 9pm for instance. Not fussy for the water quality but not a big deal really. Not like is was poison or anything, just high mineral content. The kids had lots to do with a pool and arcade, playground, zipline, dances etc. Dances for adults as well, very lively. Nobody telling you to shut-up and go to bed when the sun is still shining or checking to see if you left at 11am sharp. I would recommend this campground for anyone 50 and younger, especially if they have a family with kids.

This campground is a dump for weekend campers. The sites are no where close to level. If it rains, the mud is knee deep. Don’t go here. I cannot give zero stars. One star is too much. Go elsewhere.

We had a great two night stay at Whispering Winds! We booked a camper trailer to rent but due to unforeseen circumstances it was unfit for our visit, however the staff and management were extremely courteous and helpful, they gave us a cabin instead with a free night included! It did rain while there but with the cabin we still had a blast! The young gentleman at the front desk was the same one as the previous year we visited and he is very professional and helpful! We cannot wait to come back! Thank you Whispering Winds!
