We stayed here twice while going to pancake Bay once on the way up. Once on the way back. The place is a little treasure. John and Stacy are the most amazing hosts and will regale you with incredible stories of local history and interesting places. I highly recommend that anyone wanting to experience Killarney Park stay here and have John or Stacy take you into the park. Five star ratings all around.

My sons and I stayed in Cabin 9 at Widgawa Lodge for one night before heading out on a three-day canoe trip in Killarney Provincial Park. Widgawa was our outfitter for canoe rentals and we opted for the water taxi service. A memorable highlight was when John kindly took us on a ride around the lake, sharing captivating stories about the area’s rich history, including the legacy of the Group of Seven. It was a special experience that made our visit even more meaningful. Stacey and John go the extra mile to ensure their guests have a great stay. This was our first visit and we’ll happily come back.

Our family of 7 had a wonderful time on the Sunset Cruise. They are very knowledgeable about the wildlife, natural landmarks, history and funny stories about the lakes. The kids, teens and adults in our family all enjoyed ourselves. The games room was also a big hit with the pool table, shuffle board table, darts and of course tasty snacks. If you are looking for a low key family outing with wonderful hosts Widgawa is for you.

My friends and I did a backcountry camping portage trip in Killarney, starting from Widgawa Lodge. Stacey and Darren were extremely helpful in assisting us to plan our trip and make canoe reservations months in advance. They had generous early bird and group size discounts. We enjoyed having their ultra light canoes, and renting clear-floored kayaks on Nellie Lake. Stacey helped me to make a number of adjustments to the trip. The service and facilities at the Lodge are excellent, and staff members are friendly and helpful. Widgawa contributed to the big success of our camping trip, we couldn't be happier!

We booked two canoes for a 6 night trip into Killarney from the Walker Lake access point. Widgawa Lodge and Outfitters provided us with help confirming the best route to drive to the access point; apparently the default route Google Maps sends you on requires a 4x4 and is essentially an ATV trail. We had our own paddles and PFDs and they allowed is to go straight to the boats, avoiding a long trip down to their location on Hwy 6 and allowing us start paddling an hour sooner. They just asked for before and after photos showing the condition of the boats to ensure no damage had occurred. Would book from them again.
