  • Great for Overland groups to gather and prepare for their adventures.

Tips

  • Adherence to quiet hours is generally maintained, but there have been instances of noise complaints, particularly from group campers.

Spent this past long weekend at wild nature and it did not disappoint. It was exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a lower key, laid back campground either for a camper or tent. All the seasonal folk were very welcoming and friendly. Bathrooms were spotless, and showers were hot. Owners were accommodating and very friendly, greeting us the moment we arrived. Enjoyed that everyone followed the quiet time hours, as no one likes listening to other sites hooting and hollering at all hours of the night. 5 stars. Would return.

We spent our first night here before leaving NS and driving around Canada. 🇨🇦 The camp site is a family owned business by Willy and his daughter. They were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The place is super clean, serene and people are friendly. Highly recommend to spend time here. For 2 services (electricity and water) we paid $30, that’s without picnic table and fire pit.

Super friendly staff!! So responsive and helpful. So close to the mastodon and the wildlife park too. I wish we had stayed another day or two to spend more time at the lake and the trail. We cannot wait to come back! Thank you! :)

Relaxing? No. Group camping is obnoxiously loud 18 hours a day. There's a list in the bathroom of what you are responsible for, but nothing about the owners being responsible for the really loud campers. Most of the camp is long -term rv, which is a shock as why anybody would pay for this loud a site is beyond me. Wifi, which is prominently listed on their site, cuts out when you try to go to any website - Luke weather com - because all the people in the group site are logged in so they can all play the same dance tune at the same time.
