Had a wonderful stay at Wildings Resort. Rustic cabins located in the wilderness that offer a sense of tranquility away from our daily rat race in the city. The cabins are stocked with basic necessities such as dishware, pots, pans, kettle, dish soap, sponge, utensils - which included a can opener (came in handy for baking a pie). Bring your own bedding and pillows. The owner Brett was very accommodating and KIND (more on that below). He was there upon our arrival to offer a personal welcome, tour and even started our wood burning fireplace for us. Our porch was already stacked with a healthy supply of firewood which was refilled daily. ***On our second day, after venturing out in a heavy snowfall, our vehicle became trapped in a snowbank quite a distance from the resort. We walked in the deep snow and thankfully found cell service to call the resort. Brett came to our rescue!!! He drove out in the night to give us a ride back to the resort. In the -14 conditions, it’s no exaggeration to say he might have saved our lives!!! THANKS BRETT The next day, while he was out of town, Brett was kind enough to lend us his snowmobile to venture back to the stuck vehicle to try to dig it out (with success, thank God 🙏!!). I absolutely love this resort and most definitely will return.

I had the pleasure of experiencing this off-grid resort while visiting some family who'd spent 5 days vacationing here. We camped in a tent overnight. The property now has new owners and they're beginning to update the cabins; I believe there are 8 along with a larger bungalow (accommodating anywhere from 2-6+ guests). They are rustic and cozy and I'm eager to see the direction the new owners take the space! Amenities were great; 2 full functioning bathrooms and a shower with additional outhouses stationed throughout the property so each cabin is accessible. The property is positioned right next to Surrey Lake and there is plenty of wildlife (cows, deer, bears, birds and fish, as well as pigs and more) to see and experience while there. Unfortunately, it's near the coquihalla highway which may prove extra challenging for light sleepers. The views are beautiful; we watched an eagle diving for fish while enjoying coffees on the deck mid morning. There are trails along the lake to for hiking, biking and kayaking/SUP/canoeing would all be lovely on the lake. If you contact the ahead of time, you can also rent a reserve & boat during your stay! If you're looking for a quiet remote, off-grid experience, Wildlings Resort is an excellent option to consider.

Camped here last month for the first time, and can't wait to go back again! The hosts are wonderful people that did all they could to ensure that we had all we needed. It was a wonderfully relaxing weekend for the whole family! The lake is also really beautiful and calm. The fishing here is pretty good, although they are smaller trout, they are good eating and we caught at least a couple fish almost every time that we went out.

Had a great stay at Wildings. Five grandkids between 4-10 years old with three dads and one grandpa shared two cabins. Fishing was good, the grounds were great for the kids. They loved the sheep roaming around and the playground was a nice touch! New owners have put in a lot of work to get the place looking good! They are great hosts and a pleasure to meet. Thanks for the hospitality and the memories our kids will have made!

Great place to bring the whole family and escape the city. We have visited Wildlings over the past 2 summers and have loved our stay. We just booked again for this summer. The hosts are fabulous and go above and beyond. Our toddler had a blast watching the tadpoles in the shallows of the water and seeing the horses. Highly recommend.
